Expro Group are currently recruiting for a Business Development Graduate Intern to join the BD / Sales team based in Luanda.

Overall Purpose of the Job

Under direction of the Business Development Manager undertake the input of commercial data into proposals, bids and tenders and the commercial risk.

Assist with the compilation of ITT’s and RFQ’s by in putting data and submission back to the client in a timely manner. Responsible for maintaining and updating Salesforce for area of responsibility.

Key Activities and Accountabilities

1. Under direction of Business Development Manager undertake the preparation and submission of Bid Evaluation reports (BER’s).

Responsible for timely submission and accuracy, quality and reliability of content

2. Produce completed documents such as BER’s, client credit reports, compliance checks etc using information from relevant sources ensuring accuracy and compliance with Company’s policies and procedures

3. Ensure that all terms and conditions entered into new contracts are accurate and in line with approved BER, any concerns should be raised with Business Development Manager

4. Provide admin input to achieve the coordination of contract finalisation, performance bonds, sub contract , bank guarantees etc

5. Manage the area of responsibility within Salesforce data base such as the contracts listing and other related fields to ensure accuracy of data and its timely input

6. Under direction of Business Development Manager provide admin support in the review and management of all contract escalations relating to existing contracts to ensure these are executed without undue exception.

This will include admin support for the amendments to existing contract rates, pricing structure and commercial terms

7. Ensure the timely compilation and submission of Invitation to Tender documents to assist in securing new business for the Company.

8. Undertake commercial or administrative projects / tasks as directed by Manager

9. Liaise with managers and internal and external bodies when required to ensure all aspects of issues are discussed with the relevant parties to ensure effective communication to allow task completion within deadlines.

Liaise with manager on any issues or concerns.

10. Actively adhere to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, procedures and processes to ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained and exposure to liability or risk to Expro’s reputation is minimised.

If necessary, report possibleviolations or conflicts of interest.

11. Actively adhere to and ensure compliance with applicable Quality policies, procedures, processes and systems. Takes an active part in quality improvement processes.

Identify and report any deficiencies to supervisor and obtain authorisation for any deviations from standard procedures.

  • 12. Actively comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and processes. Promote HSE awareness;
  • take responsibility and be accountable for own safety and safety of others. Demonstrate the personal application of HSE procedures in daily performance and always follow the 10 Safety House Rules.

    13. Ensure objectives set under Employee Development Plan are met.

    Job Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Degree or related professional qualification
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Powerpoint and Word)
  • Previous experience of Salesforce is preferable
