Job Description

We are now looking for Head of Digital Services, to lead assigned customer projects securing that project goals are met, customer’s expectations are fulfilled, and that the customer relation is handled in the best possible way within the scope of the contract.

Role will take responsibility from Presales, through Delivery until fulfilment of contract and project closure.

One will drive large and complex Professional Services engagements towards Ericsson’s customers in Angola. He / She will support the KAM with extensive technical knowledge.

By taking on both the CSR and CFR role, he will be responsible for overall Presale and Delivery for assigned account. Including overall Solution, Cost estimation, the delivery model (mix of on-shore, near-shore and off-shore resources).

The primary focus will be Digital Services related offering and proposals for customers within CU West Africa and Morocco.

Once the deal is won, the person responsible will be the head of the delivery, until the complete fulfillment of the contract, ensuring the continuity from presales to delivery, actively seeking to improve top and bottom lines with due consideration to customer satisfaction and Ericsson’s business objectives since these programs often have visible impact on the Business Unit and corporate results.

In addition to the pre-sales and delivery activities, there are more tasks assigned to the ICT Program Director, such as :

  • Building a strong Customer Relationship at C-Level (IT, Engineering, Marketing, Finance etc.);
  • Daily presence at customer site, becoming a sort of Ericsson agent at the customer premise to increase the customer’s trust in Ericsson as a system integrator;
  • Driving up-sales opportunities Coaching the team, to interact with them and to support them in their professional growth, and to identify and recognize talents;
  • Supporting asset and organizational set-up and growth; a main contributor to the Professional Service culture growth, delivery methodology fine-tuning as well as harvesting the best practices from the programs driven;
  • This role will support the Head of Fulfillment in ensuring proper governance of Projects and programs;
  • Act as the customer escalation interface, providing needed support through working with other units : support, Managed Services.
  • You will :

  • You will be involved in estimation of the project costing at presales, supporting the Key Account to ensure contract is won;
  • You will establish the project plan baseline : define project scope, secure the necessary resources, and plans and monitor all activities;
  • Drive project execution : track project activities, monitor and handle changes, conflicts, and critical issues;
  • Handle customer and partner engagement : manage customer relationship building confidence and trust, ensure project progress arranging meetings and customer events;
  • Handle project finance : ensure financial system monitoring;
  • Develop the business : participate to contract preparation and to pre-sales meeting;
  • Develop the discipline : simplify processes, methods, and tools with creative ideas.
  • To be successful in the role you are :

  • Education : Academic Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Economy;
  • Min years of experience : At least 3 years of experience handling Telecommunications Projects;
  • Domain experience : OSS, BSS, Telco CORE, IMS, IT etc. or related discipline;
  • Financial Acumen & Analysis Skills;
  • Business Understanding;
  • Consultative Selling Skills;
  • Customer and Market Insight;
  • Negotiation, Persuading & influencing Skills;
  • Project Management Skills;
  • Occupational Health & Safety (OHS);
  • Leading & supervising;
  • Planning & organizing;
  • Proficiency with the English Language;
  • Other desirable Language : French and Portuguese;
  • PMI certifications is very desirable;
  • Understanding of Project sales and Engagement process;
  • Contract management for internal and 3PP;
  • Supplier management experience.
