Contracts Manager Mix use buildings / building infrastructure Angola

Our client is a leading design and project management services provider in the Angolan market for Civil and building infrastructure projects.

At present they are seeking a number of dynamic expatriates and Angolan citizens to further grow the company’s footprint

Responsibilities :

Project Design - Oversees a diverse design team that includes engineers, architects, and environmental professionals, with the goal of ensuring timely and satisfactory completion of plans and specifications.

Bid Process - Distributes documents to the bidders, answers their questions during the bid process and issues bid addenda if needed to clarify important details.

Contract - Writing or reviewing the Contract documents with the view of creating a fair, clear document that will reduce conflict during construction.

Construction - Thorough knowledge of the trades, crafts and equipment needed to complete the job, plus the ability to identify potential problems.

Reporting any non-compliance with project specification and / or applicable standards to QS Dept & RE

Preparation of daily site Memos

Requirements : Qualification and Skills

Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying

Minimum 10 years’ post-graduation experience in the construction industry

Proficient with MS Office and Primavera

Excellent communication skills, written and spoken

Fluency in English and Portuguese

Experienced with FIDIC standards

Experienced in contractual claims and counter claims

Contractual information :
