Responsible to coordinate and execute the company strategy for technical sourcing and vendor performance management. This includes the management of commercial relationships, the investigation of different business models with vendors, and developing solutions that optimize the company’s spend on the complex services and equipment.
Working across Technical Services, Operational Integrity, Supply chain and Operations functions to coordinate a sourcing solutions that optimize the total cost of ownership of equipment and can be successful implemented in the field.
In depth market intelligence and the understanding of underlying costs of materials and services, the execution of structured and comprehensive sourcing initiatives, and the enforcement of value delivery from contracts through the use of agreed performance metrics is required.
Employ strategic sourcing practices using company tools, processes and techniques to provide the best total cost of ownership solution for the company. Authority - II
Lead the execution of specific sourcing activities using cross functional teams to develop, execute and maintain global supplier sourcing strategies driving acceptance and use of a consolidated, strategic supply base. Authority - II
Responsible to coordinate and drive working groups focused on high spend components to identify opportunities to optimize spend and subsequently ensure the savings are delivered through execution in the field. Authority - I
Lead RFx, negotiations, contract development, implementation, and compliance management for identified services and equipment. Authority - II
Identify and qualify a preferred supply base through the use of performance management, benchmarking, value modeling, financial, commercial and technical analysis. Authority - I
Lead review of performance for strategic vendors through performance metric monitoring and performance reviews, driving continuous improvement in service quality and cost optimization.
Provide support for coaching, development, or termination of relationship as required. Authority - I
Actively participate in the Operations maintenance spend forecasting and budgeting process by providing guidance for identified services and equipment to enable consistent execution and spending in the fleet. Authority - I
Ensure the proper review and maintenance of the system vendor record including the inclusion of all required documentation including insurance, commercial, and indemnification contracts. Authority - I
Support and promote the effective and proper use of Supply Chain processes related to vendor selection and subscription, use of the vendor portal, sourcing and event management processes, and performance management and vendor rationalization. Authority - II
Organize and develop operational guidelines for categories of spend that follow best practices. Authority - II
Develop and maintain a professional network with business partners, colleagues and the supply base. Authority - I
Develop and implement SMART personal and team goals and objectives with objective performance indicators. Manage personal, team and stakeholder actions to assure that the goals are met. Authority - II
Provide leadership and mentoring within the supply chain organization. Authority - I
Understand Global Supply Chain department’s key controls to ensure the department is compliant with Sarbanes-Oxley. Authority - I
QUALIFICATIONS : EDUCATION :
Minimum education required : BS or BA from accredited institution.
Advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Years of relevant experience : 5-10 years of direct Supply Chain management experience with at least 3-5 years in Strategic Sourcing.
Must possess strong analytical skills
Ability to solve complex problems
Ability to communicate effectively to varying levels of management

Understanding of complex inter-related processes
Strong negotiations skills
Ability to define appropriate metrics for performance management
