Angola, Central and East Africa Communications Manager
The Angola Central and East Africa Communications manager is responsible for conveying an organization's internal and external messages and support management in ensuring brand reputation, customer satisfaction and employee motivation and engagement.
Internal Communications
Internally, communications managers ensure that employees are aware of changes and projects within the company. This role could also be partly handled by the HR Employee support and engagement role.
Propose internal communications strategies and tactics in conjunction with management and HR that will foster employee morale.
Ensure feedback from stakeholders to evaluate communications effectiveness and adapt plan accordingly
Coordinate resources supporting management with communications content and materials production (employee webcasts, video, My Hub page, senior management visits, special events)
Write articles on SLB Internal Tools : Yammer , My Hub .
Ensure coordination with the GeoUnit Internal coms plans and actions
External Communications
Externally, they represent their organization to stakeholders, interested parties, and the public.
Support management with effective communication : developing coms plans, strategies and tactics planning, execution and evaluation with key external stakeholders (customers, government, community, media ).
Protect the Schlumberger brand and reputation Work in coordination with GUs, SL Corporate Communications team, and functions such as Sustainability Coms or Recruiting to ensure consistency of the company brand at the global Geography level.
Act as contact point for media relations and may act as company spokesperson + Media monitoring
Support management in communications effort in crisis situations (draft holding statement, ensure consistency of coms with HR and HSE )
Develop Editorial Content and Social Media Engagement Plans; Write articles and LinkedIn Posts
Plan an editorial calendar
Coordinate the creation of marketing and / or communications collateral to ensure that it is consistent with the organization's brand.
A bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations with 5 to 10-year prof. experience with good communications and people skills as well as the ability to think strategic / big picture and implement action plans.
